Anyways! I told you in a previous post that my hair had been damaged when I bleached it with Palty & I thought it would be a good idea to share with everyone how to treat it. First of all, I just want to point out that when you google this, most people will tell you to use a deep treatment conditioner. They'll say to leave it on your hair for 30mins to an hour or even longer & to do this as often as possible...
Please, please, please, please, PLEASE DO NOT do this!
Conditioner is good for your hair, no doubt about that, but too much of anything can be bad. When you use conditioner too much or leave it on your hair for long periods of time, it can actually coat the strands of your hair and prevent needed nutrients from getting to them. I'm not saying stop using conditioner, just don't overdo it. So now you might be thinking what the heck do I do?
Your best bet is to use a hot oil treatment!

How to use...
The instructions on the box are very easy to follow. Just place the packet in hot water (I use a mug) & leave it in for about a minute. Then, take out the little packet, open it & massage it into your wet hair before shampooing & conditioning.
Start out using the treatment twice a week for 2 weeks. Then use once a week after that until you feel like you are satisfied with the condition of your hair. Really though, hot oil treatments are so amazing for your hair so using them at least every once in a while even after you're satisfied wouldn't be a bad idea :) It's safe to say I loooove this treatment! Even before I bleached my hair I would use them. I hope this helped you out a bit! Happy hair days everyone!
